The Bicycle Rider Back is the Bicycle brand’s standard deck and one of the most widespread among players and magicians. It is made by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC), heir to the Cincinnati printing house that began producing playing cards in 1881 and launched the Bicycle brand, with the 808 reference, in 1885. This listing is for the previous model, with a blue back.

Design

The Rider Back is symmetrical: in the centre is a winged figure riding a bicycle, surrounded by foliage ornaments and decorative motifs in the corners, all within a white border. Being symmetrical, the card looks the same either way up. The faces follow the traditional poker deck design, with the classic court cards.

Manufacturing

It is printed by USPCC in poker size (63 × 88 mm) and has the Air Cushion finish, a very fine embossing on the surface that leaves tiny air pockets between the cards so that they glide easily and stay in good condition for longer.
