Description
The Infinity Cube is not a puzzle to be solved but a fidget: an object designed to be played with between your fingers. It is made up of eight small cubes joined by hinges which, as they fold and unfold, let you turn it over and over on itself without ever reaching an end. This version is by QiYi, in a multicoloured finish.

How it works
The eight little cubes form a 2x2x2 cube. The hinges that join them only allow it to fold along certain edges, so the whole thing opens into two halves, closes again in another position and opens up again on another side. The movement is continuous and repetitive, and there is no position to reach: the appeal lies in the motion itself.
What it is for
This kind of toy is usually used to keep your hands busy while waiting, studying or on a call. As it requires no technique, anyone can use it, even with no connection to Rubik’s cubes at all.
