MoYu’s Mirror Cube V2 belongs to its MFJS line (MoFang JiaoShi, “Cubing Classroom”), the brand’s budget range. It is the second version of its 3x3 mirror cube, and this variant has magnets and a glossy UV coating with glitter, on blue plastic.

How it works

On a mirror cube all the faces are the same colour, but the pieces have different thicknesses. When you scramble it, the cube loses its shape and becomes an irregular figure; solving it means restoring its cube silhouette, guided by the size and height of each piece rather than by colour.

Mechanism

The V2 improves on the first version in smoothness, stability and corner cutting (the ability to turn even when the layers are not aligned), which reaches about 20 degrees. It includes an anti-pop system so that the pieces do not fly out during sudden turns. The magnets pull the pieces in at the end of each turn and help leave the layers aligned. The UV coating is a glossy layer that adds grip and protects the plastic.
