Design

The centre caps are integrated, the outer layers are slightly wider for control and the pieces have anti-stick grooves that reduce friction. Corner cutting (the ability to turn even when the layers are not aligned) has been optimised so that the cube forgives imprecise turns. At 62.5 mm it is a compact 7x7, comfortable to hold for its format.

Materials and finish

It is stickerless (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself), with bright colours and a matte surface that does not show fingerprints. As it has no magnets, the turning is free and alignment depends on the mechanism and the tension.

What level it suits

A 7x7 has 218 visible pieces and is solved by reduction: centres and edges are grouped until the cube behaves like a 3x3. It suits anyone who can already solve the 5x5 or 6x6 and wants to try the 7x7 on an affordable cube.
