Description
The purple Colour Block is a pocket-format wooden brain teaser from Professor Puzzle, the British games and puzzles publisher. It is one of the twelve-piece models in the series: the pieces come loose with a couple of moves, but finding the right order and position to reassemble it takes time.

How it works
It belongs to the family of assembly puzzles: there are no linked pieces or mechanisms, just wooden blocks that have to fill exactly the space available. With twelve pieces, each decision affects the next ones, and you often have to undo part of your work to reposition a piece that seemed to be in the right place.
The series and its levels
The Colour Block series is made up of eight models (yellow, blue, purple, orange, black, red, pink and green), and each colour corresponds to a different design, with its own number of pieces. That is why it makes sense to collect them: they are not the same puzzle in a different colour. The purple one shares the twelve-piece group, the most painstaking in the series, with the blue, red and black, although its design differs from the other three.
