This Ziina Star set B brings together six miniature puzzles, each with its own detachable keyring clip. They aren’t decorative replicas: they turn and are solved just like their full-size versions, only they fit in the palm of your hand.

What’s included

The 2x2 and the 3x3 are the classic cubes in miniature. The round (cylindrical) 3x3 and the deformed centrosphere are shape mods: they keep the 3x3 mechanism but change the shape of the pieces, so the puzzle loses its cube look when scrambled. The Dino Cube is different: it turns around its eight corners and all its visible pieces are edges. The Pyraminx is the four-sided pyramid with tips that turn separately.

How they’re used

Being so small, they’re turned with the fingers rather than the whole hand and aren’t meant for timed solves, but for carrying around, playing in spare moments or having a different puzzle to hand every day. The clip can be removed to use them as standalone mini puzzles.

Who they’re for

They work as a backpack collection, as a multiple gift for several people (six pieces in a single box) or as a way to get to know six different mechanisms before buying one in full size.
