Description
The Dreyfus deck is a fully custom edition from Art of Play, Dan and Dave Buck’s publishing house, illustrated by the artist Ashley Dreyfus (Dreyfus Art). Its most recognisable trait is a playful, psychedelic style full of colour, far removed from classic decks.

Design
The cards feature a cast of whimsical characters who live in a kind of magical forest: smiling mushrooms, playful dragons, double rainbows, singing birds and even a robot coffee pot. The brightly coloured tuck box is printed in letterpress (a relief printing technique that leaves the artwork slightly pressed into the paper) and closed with an iridescent foil sticker.
Manufacturing
It was printed by the United States Playing Card Company as part of the Art of Play catalogue, which focuses on decks inspired by art and design.
