The NOC Luxury Collection V2 is a luxury version of the well-known NOC decks, published by Riffle Shuffle in collaboration with The House of Playing Cards. It was released in three colours named after gemstones (Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald), and this is the Sapphire edition, in blue.

Design

It keeps NOC's characteristic minimalist back, but printed with cold foil (a technique that applies metallic stamping to very fine lines of the design). The deck is fully marked: the back hides discreet signals that let you identify the suit and value of each card, which is useful in magic. The tuck box has been treated with the same care: 300 g Italian board with a matte, iridescent finish, four levels of embossing, two hot foil stampings with German Kurz foil and a fully metallic interior. It is closed with a hand-applied, numbered foil seal, with a die-cut edge for easy opening.

Manufacturing

It is printed by Cartamundi on its Slimline paper, somewhat thinner than usual, with a B9 True Linen finish (a linen-type embossing that helps the cards glide). Each colour is limited to 7,500 decks and the publisher announced that there will be no reprints.
