How it works
It belongs to the family of assembly puzzles: there are no interlocked pieces or mechanisms, but wooden blocks that have to fill the available space without leaving gaps. The difficulty is not in handling them, but in visualising the shape of the remaining gap and which piece can fill it.
The series and its levels
The Colour Block series is made up of eight models (yellow, blue, purple, orange, black, red, pink and green), and each colour corresponds to a different design, with its own number of pieces. That is why it makes sense to collect them: they are not the same puzzle in a different colour. With nine pieces, the yellow one sits midway between the six-piece and twelve-piece models, which makes it a natural next step for those who have already solved one of the simpler ones.
