RAVN X is a poker-size deck designed by Stockholm17, the name under which designer Lorenzo Gaggiotti works, for Swedish magician Caroline Ravn. It continues the collaboration the two began with the original crowdfunded RAVN deck, whose idea was a traditional-looking deck that is elegant and easy to use in magic performances.

Design

The back combines two colours, metallic red and black. The court cards have been redrawn from the classic model without straying far from it, and the Ace of Spades and jokers are custom. It includes a double-backer (a back on both sides, useful in magic) and a third joker called The Loop. The tuck box is made of black paper with red and black foil (metallic stamping), embossing and metallic printing on the inside.

Manufacturing

It was printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Thin Crushed stock, a card stock that is thinner than usual and crushed, which gains flexibility and makes handling easier. It comes wrapped in cellophane.
