Design
Cold foil (a metallic film applied without heat, which allows fine detail) appears on the tuck box, the faces, the back and the suit symbols, with highlights reminiscent of sunset light. The court cards are dedicated to the lions of Pride Rock and other characters from the film, such as Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Scar, Timon and Pumbaa. The Ace of Spades bears the motto Hakuna Matata.
Manufacturing
It uses Bicycle’s Air-Cushion finish, a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide and shuffle easily, and it is made in the United States.
