This red Rider Back is a version of the timeless Bicycle deck designed for people who handle cards every day. It is made through an agreement between the Expert Playing Card Company and the United States Playing Card Company, and what sets it apart is not the design, which is the classic one, but the way it is produced.

Design

It keeps the traditional Rider Back in red, with its matching classic Rider tuck box. The tuck box has the stamp-style seal placed towards the left, which makes it easier to open, and a red tear strip that actually works.

Manufacturing

It is printed on a web press (web press, a printing system that runs on a continuous reel of paper) and then heat-cured, a process intended to make every deck feel the same in the hand. The stock is thin crushed (thin crushed): the 54 cards take up roughly the same space as 52 from a regular deck, around 14.35 mm in total thickness. It also has a traditional cut, meaning the cards are cut in the same direction as older decks, which is considered favourable for the faro shuffle (interweaving the two halves card by card), both in the hands and on the table.
