Description
This deck completes the trilogy of decks Kings Wild Project devoted to The Lord of the Rings, officially licensed by Middle-earth Enterprises. Like the previous ones (The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers), it is illustrated by Jackson Robinson, founder of Kings Wild Project, who handles all the artwork and even the lettering.

Design
The characters are taken from the text of Tolkien’s novels, not from the films, and reinterpreted in a style of their own. They include Aragorn and Arwen, Sam carrying Frodo on his back, the King of the Dead, Denethor and Sauron. The suit frames are inspired by the metals of Middle-earth, such as mithril, iron and gold, just as in The Two Towers they were inspired by the elements.
Editions
The Return of the King was released in four versions: standard non-foil, gilded non-foil, standard foil and gilded foil. This is the standard non-foil: it keeps the same illustrations, but without metallic foil on faces or backs, and comes in a traditional tuck box. The gilded versions add gold card edges (gilded).
