Description
The blue Bee is the twin of the red one and shares more than a century of history with it: the brand was born in 1892 and is now part of the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC), which also makes Bicycle. It is instantly recognisable by its diamond back covering the whole card.

Design
The back design is a regular lattice of blue diamonds printed full bleed, that is, right to the edge, with no white border. This approach was born at the gaming table: if a card is slightly exposed, the back gives it away immediately. For that reason casinos have often adopted it, in many cases with their own logo on the back. The faces are the traditional poker deck ones, with standard indices.
Manufacturing
It is made in the USA on casino-quality Bee card stock. This line is associated with the Cambric finish, a fine protective layer that helps the cards keep their shape with continued use.
