A special version of the circle-back Tally-Ho produced through an agreement between the United States Playing Card Company, the brand’s maker, and Expert Playing Card Company. On the outside it is the familiar Tally-Ho Circle; what changes is the manufacturing process, designed for those who handle cards every day.

Design

It keeps Tally-Ho’s classic circle back, here in red, and its traditional tuck box, with the seal placed on the left, as on old boxes, and a red strip that works as a tear tab to open the seal. It is also available in blue.

Manufacturing

It is printed on a web press (a press that works from a continuous roll of paper) and heat-cured, a process intended to give every deck in the series the same feel. The card stock is thin crushed: thinner than standard and pressed, so that 52 cards measure about 14.35 mm thick. It also has a traditional cut, a type of edge cut that favours the faro (the shuffle in which the two halves of the deck interweave card by card), both on the table and in the air.
