Description
The MoYu RS3M 2020 is the 2020 revision of the RS3M, MoYu’s budget magnetic 3x3. Compared with the original from a year earlier, it introduces a new mechanism and colour scheme, and adds the brand’s dual adjustment system. It’s a cube suitable for official WCA competitions in the 3x3 event.

How it works
The factory-fitted magnets pull the pieces as they approach the aligned position, so each layer tends to stop in place rather than overshooting. This gives more predictable turning and reduces lock-ups when chaining algorithms together. The dual adjustment lets you set the screw tension (how tightly the layers are held) and the spring compression, which changes the elasticity of the turn, separately.
Which level
It’s stickerless (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself). Thanks to its magnetic system and adjustment options, it suits anyone who can already solve the 3x3 and wants to start bringing their times down with a speedcube. MoYu has since replaced it with versions featuring magnetic levitation and a ball core, but the RS3M 2020 is still a fully fledged magnetic 3x3.
