Description
The MoYu Meilong 8x8 V3 is the current version of the 8x8 in MoYu's Meilong line, with notable improvements in feel, stability and control compared to previous generations. The 8x8, like the 9x9 and 10x10, is not a WCA event: it targets high-order and collecting.
The magnetic variant incorporates 208 magnets for alignment between layers and Ball-Core with 8 magnets at the core for additional centering. Very contained weight for an 8x8: 186 g in the magnetic version (193 g non-magnetic), in a compact 65.5 mm format.
The non-reflective matte finish improves grip and reduces uncomfortable glare during long solves. The internal build is designed to be lightweight and at the same time resistant to pops (pieces that fall out), a recurring problem in cubes with many layers.
