Bicycle Steampunk Gold is a limited edition from the Bicycle brand devoted to the steampunk aesthetic, the movement that imagines 19th-century technology full of gears, brass and steam. Bicycle’s Steampunk line is based on a design by Romanian artist Alex Beltechi, and this is its variant in gold tones.

Design

The back, court cards and tuck box are built from gears and pieces of Victorian machinery. The court cards feature metallic ink that evokes the shine of polished metal, the jokers turn into turbines and the Ace of Spades works as a window onto an inner mechanism. The tuck box has embossing and metallic details.

Manufacturing

It is made in the United States by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) with Bicycle’s Air Cushion finish (a very fine embossing that helps the cards glide). It is a standard poker size (88 × 63 mm).
