This MoYu pack brings together the six NxN cubes from the official WCA events, from the 2x2 to the 7x7, all from the MeiLong series (MFJS brand, MoYu’s budget range). They’re the non-magnetic version with a stickerless finish (no stickers: the colour is in the plastic itself).

Consistency across sizes

As they all belong to the same series, the feel is similar from the smallest to the largest. That helps when learning: moving from the 3x3 to the 4x4, and from there to the 5x5 or 7x7, the number of layers changes, not the feel of the cube. The cores have a screw and spring, so the tension (how tightly the layers are held) can be adjusted to taste.

No magnets

Non-magnetic cubes don’t settle the layers into place on their own at the end of a turn, and on the bigger sizes it’s easier for a layer to end up misaligned during the first few uses. With some breaking in and a tension adjustment, turning becomes more even. If you’d like magnetic assistance, the same series has M versions.

It suits anyone who wants the whole ladder of NxN cubes without buying them size by size, schools or clubs that need several formats, and those who can already solve the 3x3 and want to try the big ones.
