The QiYi O2 is a 1x1: a very simple puzzle in which the face centres can be swapped around, solved intuitively with no algorithms. This is the spinner version, which also spins on itself like a stress-relief toy.

How it works
You hold it by two opposite faces, which have a recess to rest your fingers in, and spin the rest of the cube. As it rolls, the colours of the centres create visual effects, especially when it is scrambled. As a puzzle it is never far from solved, so it works as a first introduction to twisty puzzles and as something to keep your hands busy. It is heavier than it looks for its size.
