SengSo is the name under which ShengShou, a Chinese twisty puzzle manufacturer, releases many of its models. It is not a different manufacturer: in specialist shops, puzzles labelled SengSo are listed with ShengShou as the maker. Here are the SengSo cube models that come with that name on the box: large Clocks, magnetic Pyraminx and unusual puzzles.
SengSo and ShengShou: the same company
The brand's Chinese name is 圣手, transcribed as ShengShou. SengSo is the spelling used on many products and boxes, which is why you will find cubes from the same family under either name. For example, the magnetic YuFeng series, which our Pyraminx belongs to, is sold as ShengShou in other shops. Large Clocks
The Clock 5x5 M and the Pentagram Clock V2 have eleven clocks per side. More steps and more combinations than the nine-clock Clock, but outside the WCA format.

SengSo FAQ
Are SengSo and ShengShou the same brand?
Yes, for practical purposes: SengSo is the name carried by part of ShengShou's products. That is why you will see the same models under one name or the other depending on the shop.
Is the 2x2 FTO the FTO that will become an official WCA event?
No. In June 2026 the WCA announced that the Face-Turning Octahedron will be an official event from January 2027, but that is the standard FTO. The 2x2 FTO is its simpler two-layer version and helps you understand how the octahedron moves.
Can the large Clocks be used in competition?
No. The Clock event uses the nine-clock format. In addition, the WCA has announced that Clock will no longer be official after the 2027 World Championship. You will find more non-standard puzzles in unusual cubes and shape mods and in our guide to types of Rubik's Cubes.
